Dr. Algendy and staff have done wonders for my husband for 20 years if not longer. My husband, John O'Brien, posted a review, it is much more detailed on the excellent care that has been provided by Bay State Pain Associates. Sincerely, Lisa O'Brien

I can not say enough positive things about Dr Algendy and staff. The whole group are very compassionate professional workers. Dr Algendy will listen and work with you to provide the most optimum plan of care to help relieve your pain issues and give you a better quality of life. Highly recommend

Doctor Sherif Al Gendy is by far the most compassionate doctor I have been to. His staff goes above and beyond and are the kindest women. They are very flexible when it comes to rescheduling your appointment. They also explain everything you need to know about any medications you take. I have never met a doctor who knew so much about what medications cause certain side effects, that were never explained to me before! I cannot say enough good things about dr. Al Gendy and I travel to see him. I will never change him for my doctor. He has also called surgeons on my behalf to discuss my difficult medical issues. Not every doctor will go out of their way, on a weekend, to personally call another doctor to explain one patient's situation and he did that.

I have suffered with post operative pain from failed cervical surgeries for several years. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Algendy – the care is superb – and communication is excellent. Dr. Algendy makes me feel like I am the only patient he has – I’m not just a number.

Overall experience was excellent. Dr Algendy took his time and truly listened to my needs, concerns, and previous unsuccessful treatments. He explained everything to me in details, office staff Melissa was wonderful, Radio frequency works. I highly recommend Dr Algendy for pain.

I liked Dr Algendy right from the start. He sits with you and talks with you about your symptoms and pain. Where I suffer from depression as well, I find the only way to cope with all my problems is humor. He understood this. He also informed me that there are different types of treatments. I appreciate Dr. Algendy. He explains everything. Although, I wonder if I need more than management. He is the ONLY Dr. I would go to for management. He even asked for a chance to have a faith in him. I DO

I've been a patient of Dr. Algendy for approximately 5 years. After a work place injury and multiple surgeries; I finally have a doctor who cares about me. His staff are always willing to help in any way can and are always looking out for the best interests of their patients. Dr. Algendy always listens to what's going on with my pain and how my body is reacting to the treatment plan he has created with me. And I say with me because he wants me to be comfortable with what the next steps for me are going to be whether that’s procedure he is suggesting we try or referring back to physical therapy in between treatments. When you're in pain you live it, breathe it, and it's hard to escape it. Misery is the only feeling you know how to describe it and people that have never experienced pain don't understand. The days that Dr. Algendy has been able to relieve that pain, brings an immense relief and smile to my face as I can walk out of the office a completely different person than I walked in sometimes for me it's just temporary for a day but he has been the only doctor that has been able to give me any relief. I recommend anyone that is having any issues with pain go see him. Pick up the phone and make an appointment. His staff know how to work with workers comp adjustors to get you in for appointments. Most doctor's offices don't follow through once they hit a roadblock, Dr. Algendy's staff doesn't give up without trying multiple times to get you an appointment and the treatment he recommends. I know its hard when you're in pain and you feel like no one can help. Eventually, you will find someone that can. I thank God, Dr. Maguire referred me to Dr. Algendy.

I have been seeing Dr Algendy for over 17 Years. I started seeing him when he didn’t even have an office, he worked out of Brockton Hospital. I must say he is the best pain specialist I have ever seen and I have seen a lot of them. My issues started in 1985 when my wife and were involved in a motor vehicle accident, that put us both out of work for years. I have not had a pain free day 34 years. In the next few years after the accident I saw 5 Pain specialists, spent 8 weeks at Spalding Rehab hospital another 6 weeks at Braintree Rehab Hospital, at that time both were the #1 And #2 rehab hospitals in the country. I then moved onto other Pain specialists with no help and very little relief just more drugs. Although I spent over $100,000.00 of my own money, I left both hospitals in the same amount of pain as when I walked in there doors, they were really happy to give me all the drugs they said I needed. Isn't that nice. I did as prescribed and took those 120 percocets a month and then it went to oxycontin for years. If not for my very progressive P.C. Doctor Michael Tremblay I would have never met Dr Algendy. In the time I have had my disability I have met a 1000 people that suffer from some sort of chronic pain. From folks that have that nagging ache that won't go away to the folks that make me feel lucky to only have my issues and not be bed bound or stuck in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. I have learned some very important lessons about living everyday with chronic pain. The first is THE MEDS ARE NOT THE FIX ALL. You have to want to get better and try to live the best life you can and SUCK IT UP. Getting up every day and trying, is the only way you can survive and that’s not as easy as it sounds. It can be so much easier to wine and get the people closests to you your loved ones to do everything for you. Guess what That’s going to get old real fast, and you might not even know it but there will be resentment even if it isn’t shown to you. YOU have to make the effort conscious effort to get out of bed and change your quality of life every day. It’s your responsibility to take charge of your individuale situation and make every day count. There will be times when you just want to give up. That’s when you try a little harder, and work through it. Doctor Algendy has been doing this for a very long time and if you think you can get your drugs from him without putting in the effort that we all know you don’t, then you're just going in circles and wasting his valuable time that he could be spending with someone that really wants to get better. I truly believe that DR Algendy changed my life for the better in the time I have been seeing. I don't think i would be alive today without his help and guidance I truly mean this from my hart. The quality of life I have now is better than it has been in 34 years. There was a time I was taking well over 2500 mg of pharmaceutical drugs including hundreds mg of opiates that, with the help of Dr Algendy and his compationet staff I am 18 month pain meds free. NO MORE OPIATES…. I I would like to recommend Bay State Pain Associates to anyone that is looking for relief from the horrible life of Chronic Pain, and that something we all need.. The staff at Baystate Pain Associates wants every patient to have a better QUALITY OF LIFE than they have on their first visit. Please keep in mind your issue probably took some time to develop and will take twice as long to get under control, if you can even call control the right word. They do care about the quality of life there partitions have and I am proof that there program WILL work for you and give you a better quality of life. If you are the kind of person that knows what kind of drugs you want to help with your pain and that's what you want, then I suggest you look elsewhere and leave that valuable appointment slot to someone that wants to learn the right way to deal with there Chronic Pain issues
