Headache Or Migraine

There are hundreds of causes for head ad face pain. Primary headaches are those that have no identifiable structural or disease-related etiology. It accounts for 90 % of head pain cases. The most common of these head pain cases are migraines. There are multiple classifications of migraines, but the treatment is very similar with most cases.

It is important to find good preventative medications to decrease the intensity and severity of the attacks. This is followed by a medication that is taken only when needed to abort the attack. If the patient fails medications Botox injections are indicated along with neuromodulation, occipital stimulation, and supraorbital stimulation could be tried.
